0.1 Preamble
This management plan has been drawn up by the Portsdown Hill Countryside Service, which is currently responsible for most of the publicly owned land on Portsdown Hill including the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The plan's format is that of the Countryside Management System and follows the Management Planning Handbook, Alexander, (1993).
