March

Scenes from March

The path clearance was along the outside of the eastern edge of "compartment 10" (below The Churchillian).
We created a new path outside a field that now has cattle, to offer an alternative route. A number of people passed through as we worked, commenting that they had "never known this path existed before".
Very true - it didn't :-)
It was cleared by the "sunday team", who are more accustomed to felling.

Cow-herding (or not) 9th March

3 of us having failed to lead the cattle to the pen last week, 12 volunteers spent the morning trying to herd them.
2 were collected, but 4 remain.
